Apricot Oil is a lightweight oil that softens, moisturises and nourishes the skin. Essential fatty acids help skin stay well hydrated. Dissolves dirt, oil and make-up when used as a cleanser. High in vitamins E and C that protect the skin and boost collagen production - making it a great anti-ageing oil. It can help to fight acne inflammation and reduces the itchiness caused by eczema. Apricot is a mild oil so is perfect for sensitive skins.

Produced by a women's co-operative in Morocco, Argan is a wonderful anti-ageing oil. High in omega 6 and 9 fatty acids, it helps keep skin feeling firm. It is really high in vitamin E which helps protect the skin from environmental damage. Anti-inflammatory properties help reduce skin redness.

A vegan wax produced from the berry fruit peels of the Rhus Verniciflua tree native to China. Using a small amount of this wax in an emulsion helps keep the emulsion stable and gives the emulsion a whipped cream consistency and powdery texture.

Cupuacu Butter

Native to the Amazon rainforest of Brazil. Wildcrafted and cold-extracted. Quickly absorbed, leaving skin soft, nourished, and moisturised. High arachidic acid content. Abundant Phytosterols provide antioxidative effects and restore lipid barrier function. Enhances skin elasticity and reduces transepidermal water loss. It does absorb UVA and UVB rays but should not be considered as an SPF, as it does not offer enough protection to be classified as such.

Emulsifier M

A palm oil free emulsifier with 100% natural origin content. Biodegradable and made from renewable vegetable sources. Emulsifier M has many skin benefits as well as its main function as an emulsifier. Liquid crystals strengthen the skin barrier and help to prevent transepidermal water loss (TEWL). It has a mattifying effect and moisturises the skin up to five hours after application. The liquid crystal structure that is formed is ideal for allowing actives to penetrate the skin in a slower and more controlled manner.

Frankincense Essential Oil (Organic)

Frankincense helps revitalise the skin and can help reduce the appearance of scars and other imperfections. It promotes feelings of overall wellness. It has the ability to slow down breathing making it great for relaxing and helping to promote sleep.

Jojoba forms a protective layer, preventing moisture loss, and can aid in softening wrinkles.

Kaolin

Gently cleanses, exfoliates and absorbs excess oils and impurities from the skin. Rich in minerals that nourish and soften the skin. It is the gentlest of clays which makes it suitable for drier and sensitive skin types.

Lactic Acid

We use Lactic acid primarily as a pH adjuster, but also moisturises and reduces Trans Epidermal Water Loss (TEWL), supporting the skin's barrier function. Derived from maize, it promotes fresher and younger-looking skin.

Lavender Essential Oil (Organic)

Olive Squalane

Our body produces small amounts of Squalane but as we age this production reduces significantly - contributing to dry skin. Squalane moisturises the skin, softening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It helps keep skin firm and may help protect the skin from age spots caused by the sun. Has anti-bacterial properties. The high levels of plant sterols can help repair skin damaged by the sun. Forms a barrier on the skin to prevent moisture loss.

Palmarosa Essential Oil (Organic)

Imparts a fresh rose-like fragrance. Helps to balance oil production and kills bacteria. Moisturising/hydrating.

Papaya Seed Oil

Papaya Seed Oil contains the fruit enzyme papain which is a natural exfoliator. It helps to break down and loosen dead skin cells and draws dirt from the pores. This helps to cleanse and brighten the skin and keep it looking fresh. Papaya Oil is also loaded with vitamins A, B, C and E so is a great anti-aging oil. Papaya Seed Oil is also great for oily skin and skin prone to acne as papain helps stops dead skin cells blocking pores. Papain is also known to help reduce scarring. The oil itself has a low comedogenic factor - which means it will not block pores. It has high levels of anti-inflammatories which help reduce redness and inflammation.

Rich in omega 3 and 6 fatty acids and the naturally occurring form of Vitamin A (retinoic acid). Rosehip helps to regenerate the skin, reducing the appearance of scars and helps skin to regain its natural colour and tone. Helps to improve skin elasticity. Great for dry itchy skin as the fatty acids help keep the skin hydrated.

Sea Buckthorn Berries are one of the richest plant sources of vitamin C and rare omega 7 fatty acid. They also have high levels of carotenoids (which the body converts into vitamin A) vitamin E and plant sterols. This cocktail of nutrients have properties particularly useful in delaying the signs of ageing. They help protect skin from environmental damage and photo-ageing.
