Allergies

Patch testing is advised if you think you may be sensitive to any of the ingredients. Mix up a tiny amount of mask and apply it to the inside of your elbow (this is a sensitive area of skin) to check for reactions before applying to your face.

Clay powder face mask

Please note that our masks are packaged in powder form to maintain a good shelf life without the need for preservatives. The ingredients are activated when mixed with a small amount of water, which means every time you mix up a mask it is fresh and active.

How to use a clay mask

Mix one medium heaped teaspoon of powder with approximately two teaspoons of water to create a smooth paste. Apply to clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Gently remove with a wash cloth and warm water. Follow with our soothing face oil or face cream for a balanced skincare ritual.

How long do you leave a clay mask on your face?

It's best to leave a clay mask on for 10-15 minutes. You want it to start drying but not dry out so much that it starts cracking and feeling tight. Leaving it on for too long will make it difficult to remove and it may leave your skin feeling dry.

How often should you use a clay face mask?

I recommend you include this face mask in your skincare ritual once a week for best results.
