Empty, Return, Earn
Give your jars a second life, and be rewarded for it.
Reusing glass is one of the simplest ways to reduce the environmental impact of skincare packaging. It lowers energy use, reduces waste, and means fewer new materials are needed.
If you collect seven empty Amaranthine glass jars, you can return them to me to be carefully cleaned, sanitised, and reused. As a thank you, I’ll send you a £5 discount code for your next order.
If you’re returning large Body Crème jars, I’m happy to accept five instead of seven, as they’re heavier and take up more space.
How to return your jars
Collect 7 empty Amaranthine glass jars (or 5 large Body Crème jars).
Please don’t include face oil bottles or lids.
Wash your jars thoroughly using hot, soapy water.
Remove labels if you can.
Package them carefully in a sturdy box with protective filler. Wrapping each jar individually (with paper or reused bubble wrap) really helps prevent breakages in transit.
As you may know, Evri isn’t always the most gentle with parcels, and unfortunately I’m not able to offer Royal Mail for returns. Taking a little extra care with packaging really helps make sure everything arrives safely.
Email me at sarah@amaranthinebeauty.com with:
– A list of the jars you’re returning
– Your address for collection (Evri)
– Whether you’d prefer a home collection or to drop off at a ParcelShop
I’ll arrange and pre-pay the postage, then send you a barcode to use with Evri.
Once your parcel arrives, I’ll send over your £5 discount code.
Which jars can I return?
- Cleansing balm
- Body crème
- Face mask (or you may prefer to reuse your jar with a refill)
Why not face oil bottles?
Face oil bottles have a narrow neck, which makes it difficult to ensure they’ve been fully cleaned and dried without specialist equipment.
Jars are much easier to clean thoroughly and safely reuse, which is why I’m only able to accept those for now.
Why seven jars?
Reusing jars is always better than recycling, but I also need to consider the environmental impact of sending parcels back and forth.
Seven jars helps make the return worthwhile, covering both the courier footprint and your £5 reward. For larger Body Crème jars, five is enough to balance this.
